INFO OTOMOTIF | BMW X5 SUV SERIES

On February BMW X5 launched a new series of SUVs, a model that comes with the engine completely revised and compact design modifications. On the exterior the new X5 is a side air supply larger in front and increase the proportion of painted body surface, changing the shape around the rear bumper and exhaust, dual round headlights with Xenon lights option, equipped with LED corona.

Made the biggest changes under the hood: a V8 option and the straight six-cylinder, all featuring TwinPower BMW Turbo technology and direct fuel and equipped with eight speedautomatic transmission as standard.

The model line-up includes: The BMW X5 xDrive50i is powered by a V8 gasoline engine TwinPower BMW Turbo and direct injection which gives a total of 407 bhp at 5500 to 6400 rpm. This makes the 0-60 mph sprint in 5.5 seconds, while top speed is limited to 155 mph. The next model in the line-up is the BMW X5 xDrive35i is powered by a straight six-cylinder petrol engines and BMW Turbo TwinPower direct injection, and the total output of 306 bhp at 5800 rpm. The 0-60 mph sprint in this version created in 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 146 mph.

The first is the BMW X5 diesel models powered by xDrive40d Straight six-cylinder diesel engine with aluminum cylinder block, TwinPower BMW Turbo and common rail direct injection which gives a total of 306 bhp at 4400 rpm. This makes the 0-60 mph sprint in 6.6 seconds, while the speed is 146 mph.

And finally there is X5 is powered by xDrive30d straight six-cylinder diesel engine with aluminum cylinder block, a turbocharger with variable turbine geometry and common rail direct injection with a total output of 245 bhp at 4000 rpm and 0-60 mph sprint in 7.6 seconds; highest speed in this case is 137 mph.
